無意義廢話感想幾則，請多包涵。

版本是BBC的，導演是Simon Langton，Lizzy由Jennifer Ehle飾演；Mr.Darcy由柯林弗斯（註1）擔任。


★請不要亂找藉口
Lizzy: “I shall be quit all right. ……a sudden headache.”

她當天就是不想見到Mr.Darcy，才藉口頭痛不出席迪波女士的晚宴，但是，Mr.Darcy剛好在等著可以跟她求婚的恰當時機，結果是人算不如天算，剛好都撞在一起了。
但是，那真的是一個最不好的求婚時機就是了……。

★請勿於當事人在場時做出不恰當的發言
” They were excessively sorry to go, but so they always are! The dear Colonel rallied his spirits tolerably, but Darcy seemed to feel it most acutely.”

親愛的凱薩琳迪波夫人，您見過那個男人面對心愛女人的拒絕還很高興的呢？！
Mr.Darcy離開時之所以難麼難過，完全是因為求婚失敗，和您美麗的屋子與漂亮的女兒全然無關呀，這種發言只會讓Lizzy內心莫名暗爽罷了。

★早知如此，何必當初
Lizzy: ” of all this I might have been mistress.”

就差一點，你就可以在這豪華寬敞的大宅院裡呼風喚雨了。
只不過當初你講「就算你是這世界上最後一個男人我也不會嫁給你」的時候，沒有考慮到這一點是吧。（笑）


★若要人不知，除非己莫為
Mr.Darcy: “Excuse me, your parents are in good health?”
Lizzy: “Yes, they are very well. I thank you sir.”
Mr.Darcy: “I’m glad to hear it. How long have you been in this part of the country?”
Lizzy: “But two days, sir.”
Mr.Darcy: “Where are you staying?”
Lizzy: “Lambton Inn.”
Mr.Darcy: “Yes, of course.……Well, I’m just arrived myself. And your parents are in good health? And your sisters?”
Lizzy: “Yes, they are all in excellent health, sir.”
Mr.Darcy: “Excuse me.”

你們真的知道自己在說什麼嗎？問候兩次會不會太多（笑），人家的爹娘姊妹都很好啊，不好的只有你們而已。


★不要嚇唬上了年紀的老人們
Lizzy: “We must leave here at once!”
Mr. and Mrs.Gardiner: “Of course, if you wish.”
Lizzy: “Oh, I wish we’d never come! What must he think of me?”
Mrs.Gardiner: “Was he displeased? What did he say?”
Lizzy: “Nothing of consequence. He enquired after my parents…”
既然他沒不高興也沒說什麼，只是候你家人（還兩次），那你幹嘛急著走好像捉●在●一樣，舅舅跟舅媽都是上了年紀的人啊別走太快啊（遠目）。
